Great reception from the office staff. Dr. Hughes was very knowledgeable during the consultation. Hoping to experience great services in the future.
Dr. Hughes is the BEST! If I could choose her for all my medical needs I would!
My husband has been going to Dr. Hughes for the past year. He had to start dialysis and Dr. Hughes and her team placed an emergency tunnel catheter and more recently mapped his veins/arteries for a fistula. Dr. Hughes and her staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable They handle issues and questions easily and ensure the patient has the best outcome. They also care for the family member/caretaker!
Easier procedure than expected, staff was friendly, and helpful in every way.
My mother required emergent services from Unique Interventional Radiology on December 6, 2019. Particularly, she needed Dr. Linda Hughes’ services. Due to my mother’s insurance and PCP’s office, there were some roadblocks that potentially presented delays. However, we received impeccable service and immediate care from the team at UIR. Mackenzie, Carmen, and Markisha were all extremely professional, courteous, and helpful over the telephone as they provided excellent customer care along with a swift appointment. They understood the sense of urgency for my mother’s care and the relentless strides of a daughter‘s love. I am ever so grateful for their compassion and timely support. Moreover, upon arriving at UIR, I knew my beloved mother was in great hands as nurse Linda came to receive her with such empathy, professionalism, and kindness. Soon after, nurse Kiera was absolutely amazing with her wonderful skills of a quick stick for an IV placement. She too demonstrated kindness, excellent customer service, along with compassion and respect. But I must say, the show stopper was Dr. Linda Hughes, who leads this elite team to total success! Dr. Hughes is definitely the right person in her role. She embodies compassion, respect, integrity, and exemplary care. Thank you, Dr. Hughes, for being the best conduit used for miracles to be performed!
I am forever grateful, humbled, and in awe of the phenomenal service received by this team. Keep up the awesome work and continue to be a blessing to all whom each of you encounters.
Blessings evermore,

I am 42 years old, I have 3 children, anemia for several years, I feel my abdomen heavy and bleed a lot during menstruation. My symptoms are due to uterine fibromatosis I underwent a Miomectoy 5 years ago, I have improved but I have new fibromas, I do not want more children but I did not want to undergo a surgery. I am pleased with uterine embolization. It did not hurt. My symptoms improved in 80%. In a control resonance the size of fibromas diminished to half. Recommendation of my gynecologist was adequate.
I am 43 years old and my menstruations are 7 days long, afterwards I stain for 10 days, it hurts a lot during menstruation. I have many fibromas and I was suggested a Histerectomy. I underwent uterine embolization since it is a less invasive procedure than an operation and I am happy, it has been 4 months since I was embolised, my menstruation lasts 4 days, less pain and I feel less weight in my abdomen.
I am 39 years old, I had no children and I do not know if I will have them, since several years my gynecologist told me that I have MIOMAS, they give me many symptoms, I have extended and abundant menstrual periods with urge to urinate during the day, I was suggested a histerectomy due to the number and size of the miomas. I consulted the team of Dr. Roizental and after they examined me and saw the resonance I accepted their recommendation to embolization, I did not want to have a Histerectomy. Embolization was fast, without cuts, under sedation, it bothered me a little the first hours after intervention, the pain was similar to that of my menstruation, a little stronger, I remained one night hospitalized with the treatment I improved. I was dismissed next morning without pain and started my work in 3 days. My menstruation after 2 years of embolization last 3 to 4 days without pain and I do not suffer for anemia anymore.
Simple, and fast recovery.
I am glad I decided not to have a Hysterectomy. I had long and heavy periods, but did not want surgery. I work. Dr Roizental performed Uterine Fibroid Embolization, an out patient procedure under sedation. in 5 days I was in my office. My periods are normal, 3 days long. I am so happy!
Low Hemoglobin Anemia
My name is Elide Oropeza, 4 months ago I had a uterine fibroid embolization performed, my symptoms improved 100%, the periods which were very heavy, are now normal, in 4 or 5 days is a normal period, the pain heaviness and urge to void improved 100%, used to have low hemoglobin anemia of 6 or 8, and after embolization it is 11.5 to 12.
